COVID-19 Update: We are open!
Since 1976, Proserve has been helping families and business owners restore their properties with expert performance and the most sophisticated equipment. Rob & Tamara Roy took over the business in 2012 and have continued the high quality service ever since.
In addition to all three categories of water damage restoration, Proserve offers a complete suite of property restoration services, including sewer, wind, fire, smoke, mould, asbestos, and more. We know these events can’t wait, so we have a 24/7 emergency crew on call to arrive on site and begin damage mitigation immediately.
We also know this can be a stressful time, so our project managers (who carry Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, IICRC) liaise between homeowners and adjusters to answer questions, ensure the job is being done right, and provide records.
Proserve is based in Fort McMurray, but we serve clients throughout the Wood Buffalo region, and we’re proud to sponsor a number of events and teams in our community.
Our trained and experienced property restoration teams are on call 24/7 to minimize damage and begin an expert cleanup, while our designated project managers take care of all the paperwork and details in between. Trusted Wood Buffalo restoration experts with the experience and equipment to restore even the most extreme damage.
Whatever the cause of flooding, our 24/7 emergency water restoration crew arrives on site quickly to mitigate damage. We perform an emergency demo to only necessary areas, and begin our flood cleanup and drying with industrial air movers and dehumidifiers.
When sewer back-ups strike, our emergency team is minutes away to begin sewage cleanup and extraction with a dedicated truck-mounted vacuum system to remove the worst back-ups. We then biowash and disinfect affected areas before setting up appropriate drying equipment to leave you with a clean, safe space.
When severe winds cause damages, such as removing roof shingles and damaging fencing, our team swoops in to assess, demo if necessary, clean up and repair the damage. With swift attention, we help avoid consequential damage to other areas and bring the damaged area back to its previous state.
Our complete fire restoration services include any necessary demolition, contents removal and documentation thereof, cleaning and odour removal.
Smoke damage restoration starts with cleaning using industry standard bio-safe cleaners that are safe yet effective on smoke residue. Combined with any necessary thermal fogging, smoke residue and odours are removed. We finish when you’re satisfied.
We specialize in the most extreme mould restoration and asbestos cleanup projects. Our certified staff fully contain the area and implement a standard negative air pressure working environment, then remove spores or asbestos. We ensure even high-risk removal and disposal is performed safely and according to existing provincial legislation.
First things first, contact the appropriate emergency personnel when dealing with an emergency.
Call 911 for fire and major flood situations, and if you have an obvious minor leak call a plumber to have any source of water shut off properly. If at all possible, don’t try to move or otherwise clean up after a disaster.
Leave the cleanup to us! Call our 24/7 emergency number at 1-780-791-3663. We will dispatch a crew to remediate any situation. For example, we will clean up the initial mess, remove a minimum of affected structure (like drywall and carpet) when necessary, move any affected contents and document them individually for insurance purposes, and set up appropriate equipment to effectively dry out an area along with conducting monitoring procedures standard for most insurance policies.
Like most things, it depends.
Usually, depending on the size of the overall loss, we will have your emergency taken care of in 3-7 days. This includes cleaning and drying water damaged areas and providing a complete list of affected content.
The restoration or repair side can be held back by numerous factors, ranging from completing any necessary approval processes between homeowner(s) and insurance companies, to matching original quality materials for reinstallation. Our goal is always "as soon as possible" to minimize the impact on homeowners!
Usually yes. Exceptions to this would be in extreme cases, such as a major fire
We work almost exclusively with insurance companies on various residential and commercial claims. Yes, you can rely on us do to our part in working with your insurance provider or assigned adjuster.
This can vary depending on the size of the project. Typically, salvageable content is properly cleaned and stored until the property owner is ready to receive it.
Non-salvageable content is catalogued and disposed of (with approval from the owner).
